How to prepare for Clearing
Clearing places are available on a first-come-first-served basis, so it's important that you are prepared. Here are some steps you can take to get started.
Explore our courses
Visit our Undergraduate Courses page to explore our subject areas and wide range of exciting degree programmes on offer. If you are interested in one or more courses and would like further information, you can contact a member of our team using our course enquiry form.
Visit us
Our open days and guided building tours are the best ways to explore our campus and facilities, and get a taste for what it's like to study at Ravensbourne. To see our full programme of upcoming campus events, including our Summer Open Day, visit our Events page.
Prepare your portfolio or showreel
If your application is successful, you may need to attend an interview and/or submit a portfolio. We recommend preparing your portfolio or showreel early so they showcase the best of your work. If you need advice or help preparing these, email [email protected] and we'd be happy to help.
Apply early
Limited spaces are available, so we recommend applying as early as possible to secure your place. Once you have chosen the course your want to study, you can use online application form to get started. If you would like advice or support with the application process, you can call our Clearing hotline on 0203 040 3991.
Maria Mapstone quote

Clearing was actually really easy. I put it off for a bit too long as I was so nervous it was going to be hard. But I barely remember doing it as it was so straight-forward and I was supported the entire time.”

Why Clearing worked for me

Tamika Sampson quote

I was going to take a gap year to work on my skills, but after receiving my college results I wanted to apply immediately. I called the Ravensbourne hotline and booked a meeting. We discussed my career plans and portfolio, and I was offered a place on my dream course the following day. ”
