Concept and creative process
Titles for a comedy sitcom series about a suburban Neighbourhood Watch scheme, manned by bungling incompetent amateurs and set up by a retired Major John Wyatt in response to the burglary in broad daylight of his sister’s house. The titles begin with animated eyes peering through a slit, scanning left and right. The iris of one eye zooms to become a background and frame for the titles and finally a vignette through to the location of imposing detached residences.
