Titles for ‘Words and Pictures – Year 2’, the second of two special programmes presented by Sophie Aldred for children aged 6-7, designed to help their reading through storytelling. The programme was set in a lighthouse and Aldred is visited by Sid the Seagull, Salty Sam the Sailor and Colin the Clam. The sequence was a mix of model animation with traditional cel animation, composited digitally over a live sea and sky background.
