Wild Britain (1986)

Concept and creative process

Titles for ‘Wild Britain’, a series in which Michael Jordan, Nick Davies and Peaches Golding looked at the serious issues and the lighter side of wildlife that were in the news at that moment. Designer Andy Coward conceived the idea of a digital database as the visual hook for the title sequence, delivering facts and figures, diagrams and data, together with live action video of different British wildlife species. The sequence was designed and composited on a Quantel Harry non-linear editor.
