Titles for ‘The Walls of Jericho’, a drama series about the life and work of English physician, teacher and feminist Sophia Jex-Blake. A BBC Scotland production. The title sequence combined production photographs of Sara Kestelman in the role of Sophia Jex-Blake with a decorative framed vignette. The frame was filmed from backlit Kodalith acetates tinted by the addition of coloured gels and animated by uncovering sections of the artwork frame by frame.
