Concept and creative process
Titles for ‘A Vous la France’, a French for beginners series presented by Carolle Rousseau and Patrick Simpson-Jones. For the titles, production shots of French life and locations were combined in an opening montage by using an original technique of step-printing the frames one on top of the other in ever-decreasing or increasing sizes, creating an interesting transition from one scene to the next. The studio shot was wiped in similarly using the title logo lettering.
