Unforgettable (1994)

Concept and creative process

Titles for ‘Unforgettable’, a series about memory and how to improve it, presented by Greg Proops. The title sequence was designed and filmed by Morgan Almeida with the presenter. Its aim was to suggest the nebulous and often erratic nature of memory through a mixture of time lapse filming, combined with distorted, half-remembered faces and typographic phrases and trigger words, animating in a circle around the confused head of Greg Proops. The film footage was enhanced, animated and composited in a digital edit.
