TV Mail (2003)

Concept and creative process

Nadia Sawalha and Ingrid Tarrant presented a programme where messages are sent to viewers' friends & family. The show ran from 2002–2003, at times daily, at others weekly or even fortnightly. The title sequence for the programme conveyed, in a series of typical video clips and typographical quotes, the emotion engendered by the message in the receiver. The type and images were composed and composited in a continuously panning motion across the screen in a post-production digital edit.
