Concept and creative process

Opening titles for the long-running motoring magazine programme ‘Top Gear’. The idea for the title sequence was a 3-way split screen of the driver’s view through the windscreen with a central fourth screen with a fixed view of the gear stick throughout. The programme logo is formed by two animating stylised cog wheels which make the ‘O’ and the ‘G’ of the title.
