Opening titles for ‘Think of a Number’, a light-hearted exploration of maths and science for children, presented by Johnny Ball. This title sequence incorporated a number of themes from different programmes in consecutive weeks, such as paper darts, a maze of ways of getting from A to B, things colliding together and the game of golf, where the angle of swing seemed about to be demonstrated live by Johnny Ball! Back-lit artwork created a linear maze through which balls animated in a pinball-like scenario. The ‘thought bubble’ logo delivered the show’s title over the studio audience.
