Concept and creative process
Opening titles for ‘Think of a Number’, a light-hearted exploration of numbers and science for children, presented by Johnny Ball. The title sequence randomly filled the screen with coloured numbers, resolving to geometric shapes, filmed back-lit on a rostrum camera, and finally to live action of Johnny Ball interacting with the programme titles, all composited together in a film optical.
