Teletale (1963)

Concept and creative process

A series of enigmatic, intriguing images shot on film on a rostrum and cut together in-camera in sync to the harpsichord title music, was Bernard Lodge's solution to the title sequence for this drama strand. The fast two-frame cutting sequence of the final two images before the jump cut to the title, completed the sequence perfectly.

Winner of a Design & Art Direction Wood Pencil for Television Graphics 1964.
