Concept and creative process
Titles for a series about the Glasshouse at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales in Carmarthenshire. The tropical and subtropical conditions replicated in the Great Glasshouse are represented through the inclusion of maps in the titles of the different world regions from which its plant collections come. It is a visually extremely rich and busy sequence with much to see, appreciate and absorb. It is full of information from photographs of the flowers to their Latin names, from footage of the garden experts at work to monochrome representations of botanical specimens. All of these many elements were choreographed and seamlessly composited together in a digital edit.
