Trailer for a series ‘Straight Talk’ on BBC News 24 presented by Nick Robinson, in which he interviewed leading political figures on topical issues. The designer Sarah Dewis took her inspiration from Nick Robinson’s line in his programme trail “No spin – guaranteed” and filled a room with spinning tops. She filmed the presenter with them and also separately, compositing him among them in a digital edit - an amusing analogy for the delicate task of conducting high-powered interviews while maintaining balance.
