Concept and creative process
A drama serial based on the D. H. Lawrence novel about life in an Edwardian mining community. A series of watercolour sketches of the area resolve in images of the main characters depicted on the tiles of a wash stand, a piece of furniture common in bedrooms and kitchens at the time.
