Concept and creative process
Titles for ‘ Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em’, a sitcom series about Frank Spencer, an eager young man trying to find his way in the world, who was enthusiastic, well-meaning... and disaster-prone. The titles were curiously low-key, with a short background live action shot, bathed in red light, and a crawling ‘ticker tape’ style strip in the lower-third area of the screen, carrying the main credits and the programme title.
