Titles for a series of programmes showing a selection of films and videos sent in by young people who are competing in the Radio Times Awards for Amateur Film and Video Makers.
The titles began with their own animation of the show’s presenter Tony Robinson in a variation on an old slapstick comedy situation. There followed an animated ‘Showreel 88’ logo topping and tailing a sequence of brief full screen clips of the work of some of the hopeful entrants to the competition.
