Concept and creative process

Titles for a series in which Dafydd Elis-Thomas sought answers in Wales and on the continent to the question of whether being part of Europe threatens Welsh national identity. The sequence was composed of production footage, treated in post-production with a granular effect. This was centred in a vertical band, bordered by a slightly enlarged monochrome version of itself, and was the background for the programme title and the 12 EU stars which animated in to frame the logo.
