Secret Army (1977)

Concept and creative process

‘Secret Army' was a drama series based on 'LIFELINE', a Belgian underground organisation helping shot-down airmen evade capture. Specially shot stills of the Belgian countryside, each one framed with a similar vanishing point, were expertly aligned and filmed on a rostrum camera to create the idea of a lifeline to freedom stretching ahead towards a common vanishing point.
