Concept and creative process
Title sequence for the annual BBC 'Royal Institution Christmas Lectures'. The theme of the lectures was evolution, conveyed in a 2D animation of the process of evolution from primordial soup to homo erectus. The animation was painted on a white background and shot on film. The film negative was tranferred to video, resulting in the dense black background and vibrant colours.
