Concept and creative process
The titles for an annual lecture by an influential and distinguished speaker, delivered in honour of the veteran journalist and broadcaster Richard Dimbleby, remembered in the opening sequence in a specially commissioned sculpted head. The bust was filmed on a revolve and in post-production a montage of previous eminent lecturers was superimposed over close-ups of the head, before resolving to the programme title superimposed over a three-quarter profile.
