Concept and creative process
Gregor Fisher starred in a new comedy drama series, featuring ranting philosopher Rab C Nesbitt from the ‘Naked Video’ sketch series. The titles showed his feet clad in old plimsolls, moving to the rhythm of the title music, while the unseen philosopher hurled balls of newspaper at the clips of himself and his family on the television screens. The sequence was produced in a digital edit, with all of the elements of the action in the scene layered separately over the plain background colours on which the programme title finally appears.
