Opening titles for a television production of the medieval Chester Mystery Cycle. First performed in Chester in the 14th Century, it was transmitted in the 'Play of the Month' strand, using the latest television techniques. The titles were hand drawn and painted in the style of medieval illuminated manuscripts.
