Concept and creative process
The generic 35mm title sequence for the drama film series ‘Oxbridge Blues’, written by Frederick Raphael, was shot on a rostrum camera. The image is a composite piece of artwork using several photographs of Oxford and Cambridge universities. The sky background is a separate photograph panning behind the photograph of the universities. Both sky and type use a matte. Typeface Bodoni Open (all caps with larger capitals).
