Concept and creative process
Opening titles for a drama series set on Nelson One, a North Sea oil rig owned by the fictional company Triumph Oil. The title logo was used as a framework for production shots of working on the oil rig and as a background over the North Sea for the production credits. The whole sequence was made as a film optical in the film laboratory from artwork pre-shot with mattes and masters on a rostrum camera.
