Concept and creative process
Titles for a series exploring the natural history of the Polynesian world looked at the people, plants and animals of Tahiti and Marquesas Islands. Against a live background of sea and surf, cut-out images of the Polynesian peoples, the flora, fauna and bird and aquatic life were composited from production footage in a digital edit and animated in a continuous layered panning shot.
