Titles for a programme celebrating 40 years of programme making at BBC Television Centre. Designer Steve Bonnett used the buildings of BBC Television Centre in the form of a cake complete with candles, created to celebrate the big event as the centrepiece of a party table. Using stop frame animation, a stream of taxis arrived and departed throughout the day from the main entrance of the model. The candles self-ignited and burned down as night fell and the logotype for the show faded in.
