Concept and creative process
Titles for a weekly children's news magazine programme presented by John Craven. The sequence consisted of film footage of John Craven in Far Eastern locations, intercut with a spinning abstracted ‘W’ which became the static background for the ‘Newsround Weekly’ title. The artwork was filmed on a rostrum camera with a cel overlay of the title filmed as a series of jump cuts and a final zoom in for the dissolve to the studio.
