Concept and creative process
Titles for a sitcom about an alien superhero, played by Ardal O'Hanlon, which ran for six series between 2000 and 2006. The titles set the scene with Thermoman, the superhero, leaving his home planet of Ultron and arriving at the Earth which is encapsulated in the ‘O’ of the programme’s CGI logo. Thermoman’s flying through space was shot green screen and composited with speed effects and a space background, CGI of the planet Ultron and ultimately the ‘My Hero’ logo.
