Concept and creative process
Titles for the first series of dramas based on the Highland novels by Compton Mackenzie about an eccentric Highland estate. The designers from Kemistry solved the perennial production requirement of wanting to show establishing footage and the lead actors in the opening titles. They tied all of these production shots neatly together in a grid of lines and solid areas of colour reminiscent of a highland tartan pattern created and animated in a digital edit.
