Concept and creative process
Programme titles for a children's comedy drama about a brother and sister whose parents have separated. The concept for the title sequence was an animating Rubik’s cube made up of the faces of members of the dysfunctional family and their pet dog. A visual metaphor for the family’s emotional state, the layers of the cube revolve in many different directions, even separating completely before coming back together again, now also incorporating elements of the typographic programme logo. The cube finally bursts apart to reveal the ‘Microsoap’ logo.
