Concept and creative process
Animated opening titles for ‘Megamaths’, a schools series for 7-10 year olds, focusing on mathematics. The animation features the introduction of the Joker, a 2D animated playing card keyed over the aerial view of the castle on table-mountain. It glides down and under the portcullis and lands in the castle courtyard, where it creates a fan of cards to form the programme title. Finally, a falling card in close-up creates a bridge to the studio action.
