Opening titles for the series of the classic quiz where contenders take the famous black chair under the glare of the spotlight, hoping to become Mastermind champion. The music was interpreted visually in a different way, with much more emphasis placed on the glare of the spotlight and its effect on the leather of the empty chair as it illuminated and faded to the beats of the drum. The idea of being in the spotlight would not have been lost on the waiting contestants.
