Concept and creative process
'Making Their Mark' was a series of BBC Further Education programmes concerned with the art of drawing and the different approaches of 6 individual artists. I designed an opening title sequence which showed, through the medium of animation, the materials artists use and the variety of marks that they make with them. Each opener ended with an artist-specific portrait which introduced the artist and their work - in this instance Maggie Hambling. The illustrations were by Peter Parr and the animation was by Mike Hibbert.
