Love Hurts (1992)

Concept and creative process

Described by one of the co-writers as "a romantic drama series about relationships with a seasoning of serious comedy", 'Love Hurts' ran for three seasons. The humorous references to bathroom plumbing in the title sequence are revealed in the plot in which the Adam Faith character is a plumber who falls in love with the Zoe Wanamaker character, a woman on the rebound. The titles were a 35mm film studio model shoot with set, plumbing props and artistes, filmed at Damson Studios.
