Titles for a schools series ‘Look, Look and Look Again’, aimed at 9-12 year olds and encouraging and supporting art education. For the title sequence observation drawings of a snail in a variety of media were filmed live, together with representational constructions in paper. The sequence ended with a reference to Matisse’s ‘The Snail’, a semi-abstract collage of painted coloured paper pieces arranged in a loose spiral, which animated apart to reveal the programme title.
