Title sequence for ‘Life in the Freezer’, a series which looked at the natural history of the Antarctic continent, and how the extreme climate modified species behaviour. In a digital edit, shots of the impact of global warming on the ice of Antarctica, replicated in a specially created model, were filmed on a motion control camera and combined with production footage and a background of a low sun over the Antarctic seascape.
