Concept and creative process
Titles for several music and arts programmes, presented by Mark Lawson, offering an end-of-year roundup of the cultural highlights of the year. The sequence was created by grabbing single frames on a Quantel paintbox of close-up details of ephemera and memorabilia of some of the year’s music, theatre and cinema events and playing them out to videotape as a fast- cutting subliminal montage. The programme title background was also created on the paintbox with the title ‘Late Review’ set in different fonts and cutting rhythmically from one to the other.
