Concept and creative process
The title sequence for a sitcom written by Carla Lane and starring Geoffrey Palmer. The plot centred around the efforts of a recently separated middle-aged man to form a relationship with a woman 25 years younger than himself. By the end of the first series the younger woman had been written out of the story and out of his life, a plot line hinted at in the beautifully drawn and animated title sequence.
