Opening titles for a British stop motion children's series about Joshua Jones who lived on a canal boat with his dog Fairport. The titles were a means of introducing the eponymous hero of the series title and some of the people he came into contact with during his daily work on the canal. The same sequence introduced all of the episodes and was the work of the production team at Bumper Films who produced, designed and created the stop motion puppets and sets.
