Concept and creative process

The opening title for ‘Job Bank’, a career series for 14-18 year olds, featured a trawl through the Job Vacancies small ads in the newspaper, filmed on a rostrum camera. Several possible job matches were offered up in ‘thought bubble’ captions and the programme title was resolved on the cover of a VHS cassette. Drawn artwork was used throughout with minimal animation.
