Information World (1987)

Concept and creative process

Titles for a series of programmes introducing the skills and concepts of information technology, and looking at information systems in our everyday lives. For the title sequence, a portfolio of loose drawings turned page by page, show examples of information systems throughout history, from cave paintings to Stonehenge, from the telephone to the London Underground map, the television test card and ultimately to the computer chip. The sequence is a mixture of live action and stop frame animation filmed on a rostrum camera.
