Concept and creative process
Titles for a series of programmes for parents of 4-11 year olds, presented by Johnny Ball, advising parents on ways of helping children use maths in the home and out and about and enjoy it. The title sequence was created digitally on a Quantel Harry. A background was formed from different decorative elements, including a pattern of rows of changing mathematical symbols. A central vignette displayed production clips, wiping from one to the next via a chequerboard pattern. The programme logo replaced it as it turned edge-on to camera.
