Concept and creative process
Opening titles for a suburban sitcom of marital ups and downs, starring June Whitfield and Terry Scott. The title sequence documented the milestones in the long marriage, filmed in a panning shot over a collection of memorabilia, children’s drawings and family photographs. The dual portrait of the couple at the end of the shot became a vignette in a photo album, which closed to become the background for the writers’ credits.
