Concept and creative process

Opening titles for the final series on BBC1 of the classic British-Asian sketch show, which explored British Asian culture and poked fun at the two cultures and stereotypes. It transferred to BBC2 and continued its popular and successful run until 2001. Andy Carroll designed the logo and credits with a somewhat Bollywood feel. As the budget was not great, the cast of characters and situations were introduced to the viewer via a multiscreen layered and edited sequence of clips from previous shows, composited in a digital edit.
