A Good Job With Prospects (1979)

Concept and creative process

Titles for a series which looks at people at work, who tell us what makes their job a 'good' one - attempting to crystallise the reasons that make their job preferable to another job, and what people look for in a job. The design solution kept it simple with a mainly typographic approach to getting the words of the title on the screen in an interesting way, intercut with almost subliminal shots of people in the workplace, all filmed using backlit artwork of pattern, bold typography and high contrast photographs.
