Concept and creative process
This programme for Schools and Colleges took a look at what it was like to work in different careers and at the job opportunities open to school leavers. The artwork was created from typeset lettering and photographically made into clear on black Kodaliths. These were filmed back lit and coloured with gels, panning in from out of screen and jumping on and off, by covering and uncovering with strips of black. The ‘cog’ logo artwork was also made as Kodaliths and filmed with the artwork panning together, rotating and zooming on the film rostrum camera.
