Concept and creative process
Opening titles for a 10-part travel documentary series in which Michael Palin visited 18 countries around the Pacific rim moving in an anti-clockwise direction. For each episode the final CGI shot of the globe and title logo zoomed in on a different location to orient the viewer. The title sequence itself featured the animated globe with a sequence of travel related circular images contained within its shape and production shots of the intrepid traveller in the four quarters around the outside.
