Concept and creative process
Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie were joined by a galaxy of stars for a feast of comedy and music. The programme also featured the best of past 'Christmas Night With The Stars' from the BBC archives. The sequence consisted of a 2D animation of sparkle and stars and a glittering logo, followed by a list of the stars taking part and a big finish with yet more stars for the voiceover announcement of the hosts for the evening, Fry and Laurie.
