‘Forbidden’ was a XX-rated BBC Two film series in the horror genre. Bob Cummins' titles for the series had a mysterious underwater filmic scenario, which depicted a huge safe landing on the seabed. On its door the programme title ‘Forbidden’ was embossed. The rotation of the combination lock was the cue for the door to open and reveal a large film can inside, the lid of which was also embossed with ‘Forbidden’. The film can slid out and the lid came off, allowing the film contents to spill out and spiral up through the water.
